Well, somehow it still turned on and the piston came out. Mine is still sitting in a box waiting to be repaired. My solution was to buy a used one on ebay. It was about $400 for a used one from a wrecker yard. Dealer wanted to just replace the caliper for about $2,500. 2017 F-Pace Premium 20d. 2003 WRX. Transmission not in park plus other errors. We recently got this 2017 f-pace r-sport 20d and so far up till now it’s been a great vehicle. we had left the vehicle in garage for 5 days and the remote app says it went to sleep. We tried to start it but keeps giving transmission not in park and shuts down the dash. The issue on our F-Pace is the sunroof. I encountered it the first time about a week into ownership, but it is getting worse now. Sometimes, the sunroof will not close, both buttons moving the cover, but not the sunroof. I kept pressing both buttons at the same time (holding for about 20 sec or so) and the sunroof closed. I have a 2017 F-Pace 35T, purchased used with 22,000 miles on it in 2020. took it to the dealer because I smelt the same smell of coolant, they said it had no leaks. I always smelled it when parking in the garage. 2 weeks after my yearly maintenance I got a low coolant alarm and saw spots of coolant on the ground. the dealer fixed that leak jaguar F Pace sunroof. Have a 2016 f pace it leaked water inside the car headliner by the A pillar. took to dealership 2xs they could never find the source of it tech blew the drains out and said they made these smaller than the normal drains . had a drip the other day again form the same place it has been months that this has occurred. kIUCw.
